On June 3, 2020, at TV Channel 24, the Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Dmytro Sennychenko told on attracting investments through transparent privatization.

According to the Head of the Fund, Ukraine must follow the way of all successful states – to destroy the root causes of corruption and own only strategic objects: natural monopolies, military enterprises and companies that provide exclusively social functions.

The Government made a decision to direct enterprises on privatization: attract competent investors and destroy corruption schemes. This is our political will – investments instead of corruption, – noted Dmytro Sennychenko.

That’s way Fund, on the one hand, created transparent privatization process with uniform rules for everyone, and on the other hand, is righting order on the state enterprises, which were turned into corruption source in Ukraine.   

“Privatization is starting under state control for state enterprise. Hereby we demonstrate Ukraine’s ability to fight corruption”, – said Head of the Fund. “Privatization is starting under state control towards state enterprise. He also noted that the Fund has developed and will present to the President of Ukraine in 2 weeks a comprehensive bill that will attract investment more directly, more quickly and more logically – reducing bureaucratic obstacles left over from the Soviet past.
