Confidentiality Policy of Website privatization.gov.ua

General Provisions

The Confidentiality Policy of the website privatization.gov.ua (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) applies to all information which the State Property Fund as owner of the domain name privatization.gov.ua can receive from users of the site privatization.gov.ua.

All types of data processing and analysis described by this Policy, as well as their storage, are implemented in accordance with Ukrainian legislation regarding the protection of personal data.

When the user accesses the Fund’s website, he is considered to have agreed with the provisions of this Policy. The user should take into account that the Policy can change periodically. All changes to the Policy will be published on this page.

The information posted on privatization.gov.ua can be used only with the prior agreement of the Fund and with reference to the original source. All changes and corrections to this information shall be made only with the approval of the State Property Fund. The Fund does not carry responsibility for the possible consequences of usage of the information being placed on the site.

For users convenience, the site contains links to other websites. The Fund is not responsible for the accuracy, thoroughness and content of the information placed on these websites.

Collection, analysis and usage of personal data

The term ‘personal data’ is used in accordance with article 2 of the law of Ukraine “On Protection of Personal Data”.

The Fund does not check the reliability of received information about a user or his legal personality.

When using the site privatization.gov.ua, the user may be required (with his consent) to enter personal data such as name and e-mail. Furthermore, in accordance with the legislation, the Fund can ask to provide additional data required to obtain information on privatization objects. The user’s personal data is used to implement relations for ensuring the completeness and transparency of the information about the privatization objects.

In addition, when the user uses the site privatization.gov.ua, the Fund may collect the following information:

Automatic collection of technical information. The Fund may collect some information automatically, such as the user’s IP address, type of operating system, browser type, time and date of the visit to the site by a user.
Сookies (with user consent). Besides, the Fund may collect some information by using cookies. Cookies are small files that consist of letters and numbers and is downloaded on the user’s computer when the user visits sites. There are different ways in which the user can adjust cookie settings: he can switch them off and delete them at his own discretion, change the browser’s settings to restrict using cookies, and restrict the browser’s ability to keep track of its browsing history.

The Fund uses the software Google Analytics to collect and analyze information about how a user uses the site privatization.gov.ua. The collected information helps us make the site privatization.gov.ua more convenient for users. Google Analytics neither collects and keeps the user’s personal data nor uses and shares the Fund’s analytical data.

Sharing and disclosure of personal data

The Fund does not transfer the user’s data to third parties except with the consent of the user or on the conditions determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.

Plugins of social networks Facebook and Google

The technical equipment of the site privatization.gov.ua includes plugins of the social networks Facebook and Google. These plugins can be the synchronization buttons for an account on the site privatization.gov.ua. If a user has a Facebook account and is logged in to his account while visiting the site privatization.gov.ua, the Facebook page will link this information to his account (if he has an account).

Using any functions of the plugin (for example, the button “Like” or making comments) this information will synchronize with the user’s Facebook and Google accounts. More information on the collection and usage of data by the Facebook and Google networks and rules concerning the protection of personal data in this case is available on the sites Facebook and Google in the Section on Confidentially.

Term of keeping personal data

The user’s personal data is kept for a term that is sufficient for processing the data, but not less than one year. Personal data can be destroyed upon expiry of the term or in cases provided by the legislation.
